The inaugural Keystone Rising Global Leaders Conference (KRGL) has been made possible by the dedication and hard work of our exceptional student organizers. These talented individuals, hailing from Keystone Academy, Emma Willard School, YK Pao School in Shanghai, Beijing National Day School, and the High School Attached to Hunan Normal University, have brought diverse perspectives, creativity, and unwavering commitment to this groundbreaking event. Their leadership has laid the foundation for a conference that empowers youth and inspires meaningful impact. Thank you for making this vision a reality!

Content development and communications
Maya Ma 马雅 (Class of 2028)
Keystone Academy
Maya is a well-rounded and committed ninth grade student who takes the lead in crafting detailed proposals and writing website content that articulates the vision, objectives, event details, etc. the Keystone’s Rising Leadership Conference (KRGL) encompasses. In addition to incorporating the innovative Inner Development Goals (IDGs) as a recent approach and skillset students leaders can embrace to tackle global challenges during the conference, Maya also manages email correspondence and communications with various departments within Keystone Academy for this initiative. She also serves as the primary presenter in sharing sessions and organizer in meetings. Finally, she sparks discussions involving the innovative aspects of the conference that underlines the student perspective and other elements that make this event unique.

Julia Cao 曹璟珠 (Class of 2027)
Keystone Academy
Julia is a current tenth grade student in Keystone Academy, who has main responsibilities of task delegation, proposal refinement, and communication support. She assigns specific and clear tasks to the KRGL team to ensure the team’s accountability by effectively managing time and monitoring progress. The overall planning organization and time management is Julia’s most prioritized responsibility. Julia refines the proposal by clarifying information, specifying ideas, and incorporating additional notes. Lastly, Julia supports the communication of the KRGL team with other departments in Keystone by proposing question, expressing ideas, and making announcements for the team.

Dawit S. Habtamu (Class of 2025)
Keystone Academy
A passionate student diplomat and meticulous researcher, Dawit is dedicated to pushing for the voices of those overlooked in both team efforts and in society. He aims to integrate his four years of experience in conducting interdisciplinary research and serving as a student leader of the Keystone Model United Nations team to realize the creative side of the Keystone Rising Leaders Conference. After generating the KRGL conference theme of “challenging the challenges,” he now seeks to develop innovative activities and workshops that allow student-leaders to approach their respective challenges creatively. He also aims to share his vision of fostering an attitude of gratitude within student leaders’ mindsets so that they may learn to leverage the power of the communities that is around them.

Logistics and Planning Team Lead
Hannah Bai 白亚涵 （Class of 2027）
Keystone Academy
Hannah serves as the leader of the logistics team for the Keystone Rising Global Leadership Conference. She possesses experience in managing service projects, particularly in guiding students to explore Chinese cultural heritage and coordinating various educational initiatives. In her role at the conference, she has played a pivotal part in organizing all participants and developing the necessary forms to facilitate their engagement.
Marketing and Communication Team Lead
Cady Teng 滕子璇 （Class of 2027）
Keystone Academy
Cady is a tenth grader that’s responsible for supporting the marketing team. She communicates with the conference leaders and assigns specific and clear tasks to the marketing members. Thus, she is also responsible for checking the progress and the quality of the work of the marketing team.
Content and Design Team Lead
Quincy Zhu祝一涵 （Class of 2028）
Keystone Academy
Quincy is currently a grade 9 student at Keystone and the leader of the content team. She is a member of student leadership and service-based organizations like Round Square and initiated her own extracurricular project where she leads weekly meetings on her fields of passion. She is one of the main creators of website content and planning as well as web page designing, also overseeing organizational aspects as the leader of the team.
Logistics and Planning Team
The logistics group is responsible for categorizing participants into adequate groups to ensure effective engagement in the conference. This process requires thoughtful consideration to understand the diverse backgrounds and interests of the attendees, promoting a better experience. In addition to participant organization, the logistics group is also in charge with managing the surveys that are sent out to all the participants. They spend time and efforts to make sure that all attendees are well-prepared, informed, and that their voices are heard. The logistics group contributed to creating a more considered conference environment.
Daisy Sun 孙澜 (Class of 2028)
Keystone Academy
Daisy is a member of the logistics team who designs and collects survey results to help participants understand the expectations of this conference, also in charge of surveying the passions of individual students to ensure the conference caters to student needs and preferences.
Elsa Qin 秦之砚 (Class of 2027)
Keystone Academy
As a member of the logistic group, Elsa oversees facility management, survey production & analysis, supply chain negotiation as well as transportation and delivery. She is fanatic about research specifically regarding educational and cultural issues, where she plans to investigate the topic of unequal educational resource distribution and continuity of custom in the rural areas of Yunnan province.
Bridget Li 李菀清 (Class of 2025)
Keystone Academy
Bridget is a senior with leadership experience spanning from sports teams to fundraising programs for stray dog shelters. She takes interest in both art and design, and participated in designing art magazines, environmental artwork creations, etc. Bridget is currently working on a project that aims to create a picture book about COVID-19 for children aged 8-12 as a recollection of events from 2019 to 2023. As a part of logistics team, Bridget is an open-minded, positive, and enthusiastic member who oversees the artistic aspects of work in the team.
Marketing and Communication Team
The marketing team is responsible for communication with schools, outreach and advertising. Our main goal is to maximize attendance and increase awareness of the conference. To illustrate, we are researching and finalizing the list of schools, writing invitations, creating brochures, promoting presentations, and designing the logo. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure a successful, engaging, and memorable experience for all attendees.
Tristan Lyu 吕相霖 (Class of 2027)
Keystone Academy
Tristan's role as team photographer for the KRGL mainly involves capturing participants' transformative leadership journeys through attracting visual storytelling. His responsibilities include filming crucial moments and progressions of meetings, panel discussions, networking events, and team-building activities that demonstrate the program's dynamic and innovative approaches. Throughout the event, Tristan will specifically employ his photographic abilities to showcase the young participants' enthusiasm, diversity and leadership potential, which can serve as a compelling visual anecdote that highlights the program's purpose of training and empowering students as future leaders.
Nini He 何牧融 Class of 2028
Emma Willard School
Nini holds strong interest in the fields psychology, social studies, and research. She helps with the overall research process within the marketing team.
Alvin Hu 胡昊岳 （Class of 2028）
YK Pao School in Shanghai
Alvin is currently a ninth-grade student who studies at YK Pao School in Shanghai. His unique background and experiences serve him well in the communications and outreach aspects of the Keystone Rising Global Leadership Conference, expanding it beyond Beijing where this project first initiated.
Justinian Xiao 肖嘉俊 （Class of 2028）
Keystone Academy
Justinian Xiao is currently part of the marketing team. His main responsibility is to create a visual documentation of the conference. Through camera lens, he seeks to capture certain highlights of leadership. Justinian strives to reveal the power of collaboration, the beauty of effort, and the stories that linger long after the frame fades.
Content and Design Team
The content group is specifically responsible for planning and scheduling information as well as creating content for the website, upcoming events, themes, topics, criterions, schedules, etc. The content group also participates in the designing aspect in terms of webpages as well as artistic elements.
Aveline Guo 郭敏行 (Class of 2028)
Keystone Academy
Aveline is a ninth-grade student at Keystone who is passionate about environmental sustainability. She is initiated and is leading a project focused on promoting sustainable practices, currently a member of the content team. Her role in the team includes organizational aspects as well as content planning and outlining for the website. As an enthusiastic and dedicated member, she often facilitates thought-provoking discussions in team meetings and leads strategic planning sessions.
Sissi Huo 霍可昕 (class of 2027)
Beijing National Day School
Sissi (Huo Kexin) is a tenth grader in Beijing National Day School who is in charge of translating English materials into Chinese and helping refine the content of the conference within the content team. In order to expand audiences and participants of this conference to more communities, the most prioritized responsibility Sissi shoulders is articulating everything in a concise, clear and logical manner by translations and active communication with the rest of the teams.
Jingyi Tong 童婧宜(Class of 2026)
High School Attached to Hunan Normal University
Jingyi is from the High School Attached to Hunan Normal University and she is responsible for translating conference materials into Chinese, ensuring in terms of ensuring accurate information delivery. She also provides constructive suggestions to enhance the accessibility of the KRGL to more communities.
